Privacy Policy

Effective 9 October 2026

Clarity Protocol keeps your data on your iPhone. Nothing leaves the device unless you turn on one of the optional features below, and each one tells you what it sends before you use it. There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking.

Who is responsible

Clarity Protocol is made by Vojtěch Stehlík, an individual developer based in the Czech Republic, who is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: support@xcrux.team.

Data that stays on your iPhone

Your protocol (blocks, items, doses, schedules, smart rules, axioms and notes), your saved checkpoints, and your completion history are stored only on your device, in storage shared with the app's widgets. They are included in your iPhone's backups according to your own iCloud or computer backup settings. We cannot see them.

These features also work entirely on the device:

Apple Health

Health access is optional and off by default.

Health data is processed only on your iPhone. It is never uploaded, never shared with anyone, and never used for advertising or marketing.

Optional features that send data off your iPhone

Claude connector (Pro, off by default)

The connector lets Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, read your protocol and suggest changes that you accept or reject in the app. Before you turn it on, the app shows exactly what is uploaded. When you sign in, the following is uploaded and linked to your account:

Never uploaded: Health data, the times you checked things off, and API keys.

The data is stored with Supabase in the European Union (Ireland). Claude can read it only after you add the connector in your Claude account and allow access. From then on, Anthropic processes what Claude reads under Anthropic's own privacy policy, as your provider of Claude. Claude can only propose changes; nothing changes in your protocol until you accept it.

Deleting it: Settings → Claude → Disconnect and Delete Cloud Data deletes your uploaded data, revokes Claude's access and removes your account. A plain Disconnect stops syncing but keeps the uploaded copy until you delete it.

Backup to iCloud Drive (off by default)

If you turn on backup, the app saves a copy of your protocol, checkpoints and completion history, with any photos you attached, to its folder in your own iCloud Drive, at most once a day. Apple stores it in your iCloud account under Apple's terms; we never receive it. You can see, copy or delete the backups in the Files app, and turning backup off stops new ones.

Cloud generation with your own API key (off by default)

If you add your own Anthropic API key, paste-your-stack can send the text you pasted to Anthropic to turn it into blocks. The app asks you to confirm every time before anything is sent. The text goes directly from your iPhone to Anthropic under your own API account and Anthropic's terms; we never receive it. Your key is stored in your iPhone's Keychain.

Sharing and exports

When you export your protocol or use "share to an AI chat", the file goes only where you send it from the iOS share sheet.

Purchases

Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase with Apple on the device.

Who processes data for us

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else. Hosting providers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect their services.

Legal bases (GDPR)

How long we keep it

Claude connector data is kept until you delete it in the app or ask us to delete it. Deleting removes your account too. If you simply stop using the connector, your data stays until you delete it, so please use Disconnect and Delete Cloud Data when you're done.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export and delete your data. Most of this is built into the app: Export gives you all your data, and Disconnect and Delete Cloud Data erases the cloud copy. You can also object to or restrict processing, or ask for anything else by writing to support@xcrux.team. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ, uoou.gov.cz).

Children

Clarity Protocol is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Not medical advice

Clarity Protocol is a scheduler for routines you define yourself. Everything it shows, including AI reviews and Claude's suggestions, is informational and not medical advice.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date. Material changes to what leaves your device will also be shown in the app before they apply.
